If you live in Portland, then you might have had the benefit of watching the Safeway Providence Festival of Trees, a virtual gala auction and Christmas celebration that raises money for children with special healthcare needs.
The Christmas trees on display were stunning, and thanks to helpful tips from design experts, viewers could learn how to create these beauties themselves. So, if you were not able to purchase one of the trees sold at the auction, you could create your own.
That’s not all.
The event also hosted life performances from Train, Storm Large, and Amos Lee. Once the event was complete, a beautiful raffle tree along with a generous $1000 gift card was issued to a fortunate participant. Most importantly, the needs of children in the area gained recognition, and money was raised for a good cause.
This event was streamed lived on December 5th at 7 PM, and the outreach and support provided necessary funding for children in the Portland community. If you missed this event, you can still contact Providence Foundation to learn how you can help with their outreach programs.
At Prestige Moving & Storage, we are honored to have had the privilege of participating in this heart-warming event. Our Portland moving company hauled trees from the auction to the homes of the buyers, so they could remain safe and warm within their homes while participating in the event.
